New Ride

I inherited my dad's bike, a Honda Phantom, last Saturday. After 1 1/2 years of going through practicals with a few months hiatus, I'm finally riding a bike. Not exactly extremely glad or overjoyed with the fact (which I'm supposed to be according to others...), just happy that i've a mode of transport to get me around which will save me loads of time. The first few days on it have been pretty scrappy with a particular incident at the traffic light beside the Tamp library being the highlight of it. Oh, I did have all eyes on me then...I gotta learn to ride safe and still gaining the confidence on the road.

With this bright orange machine to get me around, I'm thinking of going to MR or further places to find new running routes. Sundays at East Coast will hopefully be a norm, no longer long boring runs at BR. MR is another good option for trail running. Well, before I owned a bike, the mindset was always, "Oklah, have a bike next time, must go (insert place) to run." But you know, as they say, once you have it, it's a whole different story. It may juz make me more lazy to slip into those trainers. You just wanna get from place to place in the bike.
